These muffins were a huge hit with the family and they are also simple to make. You can come up with countless different ingredients to create all kinds of fun muffins ! I made two different varieties to make sure to please everyone . As you can see some have the chocolate on top and some have it shaved and mixed right in ! Yum . My daughter who doesn't like oatmeal and I mean not even a little bit loves these and they have the same stinking ingredients lol . When they are done you can store them in fridge in an airtight container for up to five days . Make a couple dozen and freeze them . They are so ultra convenient in the morning to just grab, go and even travel with ! The serving size is one muffin . I hope you enjoy them as much as we do !

Ingredients & Prep :

(makes one dozen)

Pre Heat oven to 350&
Generously grease your muffin pan with coconut oil

Base Recipe

6 cups of organic rolled oats ( not the quick cooking kind)

6 large bananas

1/2 cup of almond or any other plant based milk ( coconut, hemp, cashew etc.)

2 Tbsp. of cinnamon

2 tsp. of Nutmeg

1-2 drops of clove essential oil ( that is ALL you need )

Mix Ins

Batch one ( 6 muffins)

1/2 cup of shaved dark chocolate (85% cocoa or higher, organic )

1/2cup of goji berries

1/2 cup of chopped raw walnuts

Batch two ( 6 muffins)

1/2 cups of raisins

1 square of chocolate for the top

You can be as creative as you like experimenting with all kinds of nuts , seeds, dried cranberries, dates , and coconut flakes .

Infusing your cooking with love makes incredible dishes!  ! I actually made my muffins in my grandfathers bowl . He was a truly amazing cook always creating amazing recipes . I keep the photo of my grandparents right above my sink so they are always with me when I am creating in my kitchen . Lots of love energy goes into my meals xoxoxo

 Directions :

 1. Mash up your bananas . I just use a fork .

 2. Add your cinnamon , nutmeg and clove stirring well.

 3. Add your oatmeal in and stir until all of the oatmeal is moist . This is also where I add the almond or nut milk in when needed but not too much.  You may not need to use the whole amount. This recipe should not be runny just super moist .

 4. Stir in any of your add in's.

 5. Put the batter into your muffin pan filling to the top . ( they won't rise )

 6. If you are adding chocolate to the top just place your little square in the middle . (once the muffins are done I spread out the chocolate before cooling so it covers much of the top )

 7. Bake 18-20 minutes . Checking periodically after 16 or 17 minutes.

 8. Let cool and they should pop right out!

Lavender Foaming hand soap recipe

Making hand soap is sooooo easy !

Most hand soaps are full of harmful chemicals and irritants . Making your own is simple, super inexpensive and it smells divine . There is an array of scents you can use depending on your personal preference . Lavender is my favorite because it's amazing for the skin and I just love the way it smells . Orange is super refreshing and uplifting and then there is Thieves which is incredible for the cooler germ filled season . I was one of THOSE people who said I was too busy and would never start making my own stuff . As you can see that has changed .

My secrets to making amazingly delicious and nutrient dense smoothie's

green smoothie recipe
| Green Smoothie Recipe |

A smoothie is by far the easiest way I get raw fruits and greens into my family's tummies . Raw foods are incredibly healing to our bodies ,  they boost our immune systems, reduce inflammation in our bodies,  they fill us with protein and nutrients ,  keep us satiated , give us energy and  makes our skin glow!

Making them taste as amazing as they are , now that's the challenge,  but it's completely doable !

I am going to give you my basic steps in creating a super smoothie!

*These steps serve 3-4 people and you can adjust accordingly*

Step One: Protein Milk

Vegan Smoothie Recipe

The first step in my smoothie making process is to add "milk" . I typically make one of three kinds (Almond, Cashew, or Hemp ) I first put 16oz of purified water into my blender . Then I add either 3/4 cup of almonds or cashews . If I am using raw hulled hemp seeds I add 9 teaspoons . Then I just blend a few minutes with the water . I believe in eating all foods as whole as possible so I don't strain the milk . If you are using the cashews or almonds you can soak them overnight to soften them up a bit . I typically use only organic ingredients in my smoothies . Almonds are great because not only do they contain protein but they also contain a ton of nutrients and are high in calcium . Cashews are great for boosting your mood and they are a little sweet . Hemp is the ultimate complete protein (10 grams a serving!) and packed with a boatload of vitamins  and nutrients. All of the plant based ingredients in your smoothie contain protein :) Your smoothie will be super filling because it's perfectly balanced with protein, fiber, and healthy fats .

Step Two : Add in the greens

vegan

This is the step where I add the good stuff! I now fill my blender with greens all the way to the very top ! (This is why I create my smoothies in this particular order and get the most nutrients I as possible ) I add a mixture of greens or sometimes just one .

Here is a list of the greens I use  :

Kale

Collard Greens

Celery(1 stalk)

Cucumber

Dandelion Greens (great for liver detox)

Spinach (liquefies well for a smooth smoothie)

Romaine

Avocado (if you use Avocado and cucumber you can hide the green color when you add your fruit )

Rainbow or Green Chard

Once I stuff the blender to the tipity top with greens I blend for 3-4 minutes until liquefied . Now there is room for our next step !

Step Three: Add Something Fruity

Green smoothie recipe

This is the step where you make your smoothie super yummy !

I now add 2-3 types of fruit to my smoothie . I typically always add banana to make it smooth and creamy . Mango makes it creamy as well . I add something frozen, typically a mix of frozen organic berries . In the summer when I find fresh organic berries I freeze the bananas or pineapple . I don't use ice because I want to pack in the most nutrients possible .

Here is a list of fruits I use :

Each count as one fruit ~

Bananas ( 2 large or 3 small)

1 Mango

2 pears

2 apples

1/2 of a pineapple (reduces inflammation)

3 cups of frozen berries (full of antioxidants)

3 kiwi

1 cup of cantaloupe

1 cup of honeydew

You really could add almost anything you want ! Get creative !

Add your 2-3 fruits and blend a few more minutes blending what's frozen last .

Step Four: Adding Some Extra Flavor and Power !

(Optional but highly suggested, it's my best secret)

essential oils

This step has saved my smoothies from smoothie disaster countless times like just last night ! I was limited to what I had in the house for fruit and I used Dandelion greens (which are a bitter green) Avocado and Spinach . I only had some berries and honey dew for fruit .  I added 4 drops of Young Living Jade Lemon Essential oil and POW ! The smoothie was saved and everyone enjoyed it ! You can research the incredible Orac values of the oils and their amazing constituents like limonene . You only need a couple drops for magnificent flavor!

Here is a list of my favorite oils:

I use 1-3 drops depending on strength and the flavor I'm looking to achieve

*Only pick One Oil*

Orange ( 3 drops)

Citrus Fresh ( MY FAV 3 drops))

Lemon (1-3 drops)

Jade Lemon (3 drops)

Lime ( 3 drops)

Cinnamon (1-2 drops)

Clove (1-2 drops)

Copaiaba ( 3 drops)

Thieves (1-3 drops)

Grapefruit ( 3 drops)

Peppermint (1-2 drops)

Add your oils give another quick blend and Enjoy !!!!
